Fotona MaQX — Spider Veins, Discoloration, Tattoos
Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser with three operating modes. Spider veins disappear. Tattoos fade. Skin evens out its tone.
The Fotona StarWalker MaQX is a multifunctional Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm — the flagship platform of the Slovenian manufacturer Fotona. At our clinic we use three main operating modes. Long Pulse mode — selective photocoagulation of vessels: vascular spider veins (telangiectasias) on the legs and face, reticular vessels 0.5-1.5 mm in diameter, dilated perinasal vessels. It works through a precise hit on the hemoglobin absorption peak — without the need for injections as in classic sclerotherapy. Q-Switch mode (MaQX) — removal of pigmented lesions and tattoos with a shock wave that breaks up the pigment without destroying the keratinocytes. Safe for all tattoo colors, without the risk of scarring. FRAC3 mode — non-ablative unification of skin tone, elimination of poikiloderma of Civatte, treatment of melasma. The procedure is performed by Dr. Wiktor Suchy. The standard protocol is 3-6 sessions every 4-8 weeks.
