Dermatosurgery — Dermatoscopy and Oncological Excisions

Diagnostics, surgery, pathologist — under one roof. Every skin lesion assessed comprehensively.

Dermatosurgery at our clinic covers the full diagnostic and treatment pathway for skin lesions. We work on the basis of strict diagnostic triage — every suspicious lesion is first examined dermatoscopically (ABCD criteria and the 7-point checklist), and only then is the appropriate treatment method selected. Full-thickness surgical excision with an oncological margin is performed with a classic scalpel (surgical instruments + monofilament sutures — polypropylene, polyamide) under infiltration anesthesia (lidocaine + adrenaline 1:200,000). The classic scalpel remains the gold standard for suspected malignant lesions due to the preservation of tissue structure for the pathologist. Every removed lesion with features of atypia is subjected to histopathological examination (Hist-Pat) — you receive the result in 7-14 days. For benign lesions without features of atypia (dermal nevi, seborrheic warts, soft fibromas, genital warts, syringomas, xanthelasma) we use the CO2 laser in vaporization mode — bloodlessly, without stitches, with excellent scar aesthetics. The procedure is performed by Dr. Jan Bujok.
